The Sarasota County Beach Pavilions at Caspersen Beach, Manasota Beach, South Lido Beach, and North Jetty Beach showcase a harmonious blend of thoughtful design, environmental sensitivity, and a celebration of the Gulf Coast’s natural beauty. These pavilions provide welcoming spaces that enhance the visitor experience, each uniquely reflecting its surroundings. Caspersen Beach features two elevated restroom pavilions with shaded viewing platforms, offering panoramic vistas of the Gulf and surrounding natural preserves while integrating sustainable water reuse systems. Manasota Beach’s pavilion and garden plaza highlight the Sarasota School of Architecture’s legacy, with sloping roofs, shaded picnic areas, and abstract design elements inspired by coastal vegetation.

South Lido Beach Park’s pavilion, anchoring the southern tip of Lido Key, integrates waterfront views, functional design, and nods to Sarasota’s architectural heritage, with its inverted roof doubling as a rainwater funnel. At North Jetty Beach, the pavilion combines a serene picnic area with a restroom and concession space, featuring a signature tower detail that allows visitors to memorialize loved ones. Together, the Sarasota County Beach Pavilions offer functional, environmentally sensitive designs that enhance community connection to the unique coastal environment, making them cherished landmarks along the Gulf Coast.
