PARKS: Sarasota, Florida
This 2,600 SF covered shelter and restroom pavilion was constructed for $77 per SF to consolidate and replace several aging structures for a local community park that serves host to intramural baseball and kickball. A covered picnic area with an adjacent multi-purpose room and restrooms provides a panoramic view of the ball field.
This project won the 2015 Florida Association of AIA: Honor Award of Merit for New Work.
