Ty Overmyer with Sarasota County Projects and Todd Sweet with Sweet Sparkman Architects, share about the design, sustainability and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) aspects of Fire Station #1. Sarasota County Fire Station #1 (Downtown Sarasota) and Sarasota County Fire Station #13 (Siesta Key) were selected for the competition as two of 28 distinguished examples of public safety architecture in Florida.
